In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges between China and other countries in the world, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in China’s universities. The China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE), is responsible for the admission of the applicants for Chinese Government Scholarship programs. A total of 289 designated Chinese universities offer a wide variety of academic programs in Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Law, Economics, Management, Education, Liberal Arts, Philosophy, History and Fine Arts for scholarship winners at all levels. 　　The 2023/2024 Chinese Government Scholarship is now open for application. The Education Office, Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Chicago is the agency responsible for applications from Michigan、Indiana、Wisconsin、Illinois、Minnesota、Iowa、Missouri、Kansas、Colorado and Chicago.

　　Application needs to be done online. Please click Here for instructions. Documents needed for the application is listed Here in addition to a Medical Examination Report. All documents should be uploaded to the application system no later than February 19, 2023. Please note that our Agency Number is 8402 and Program Category is Type A.
